Centre for Danish Jazz History contains one of Europe’s largest collections of Jazz recordings, literature and sources about jazz.
CDJ manages research and collection about Danish jazz history, and act as a professionally forum for researchers and communicators of jazz.
CDJ is founded in spring 2006 by a young group of students and researchers at Aalborg University.
The purpose was to focus on Danish jazz and to give all interested an opportunity to acquire knowledge about the music and its culture.
CDJ is a private foundation depending on funding and meberships
The staffs consist of two employees:
